Building technology roadmaps to predict and direct the future

  • Data scientists at our Bengaluru campus are using AI and machine learning to develop technology roadmaps.
  • These roadmaps help us extract critical insights from our oil-and-gas data and maximize production.
  • We're collaborating with India’s premium universities to upskill the next generation of our data scientists.

Step aside, crystal balls. AI, machine learning, and smart systems are coming through.

Imagine seeing patterns in data and pulling it all together to make accurate predictions.  That’s the kind of technology we are deploying to transform how we extract and use data.

Purba Chatterjee, principal data scientist at our Bengaluru campus, and her team are developing a technology roadmap that integrates these new technologies to analyse the large amounts of data generated by our production sites, from Guyana to Australia.

The insights this data generates are critical. It helps us to optimize our oil and gas production, pre-empt the breakdown of machinery, and organize large-scale maintenance of our operations.

Hear from Purba about how they’re building these technology frameworks and upskilling the next generation of data specialists at our Bengaluru campus.
