ExxonMobil Hong Kong (EMHK) has been awarded the Caring Company recognition by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS) for the 19th year in recognition of its commitment to community caring, youth development, and environmental conservation efforts over the past year. We can achieve this feat only because of the continuous dedication of our employees to volunteer and give back to our communities.
Key achievements in 2023:
1) 79 EMHK colleagues participated as volunteers
2) Supported 18 community programs
3) Approximately 990 hours of contribution
“We are dedicated to meeting society’s evolving energy needs and taking care of the community where we operate,” said Jean-Marc Taton, Chairman of ExxonMobil China. “A big thank you to our community partners and colleagues for their enduring support, which has been crucial in developing diverse programs, ranging from ethnic minority families support, fundraising for underprivileged children and artists with disabilities, educational workshops in business ethics and STEAM, career seminars and job shadowing opportunities, to environmental campaigns involving beach clean-ups and responsible hiking. We will continue to promote corporate social responsibility and foster a caring culture through our extensive business network and commitment to volunteering work.”
