Maintaining our thriving ecosystem as we plan for decommissioning

As part of our decommissioning planning, we are working with expert researchers, academics and environmental consultants to complete a comprehensive offshore environmental survey, including a detailed examination of fish and other marine organism communities living in and on the seabed, as well as analysis of the sediment close to our facilities.

The spectacular footage you see in the video was captured by a remotely operated vehicle and highlights the diverse and abundant marine communities thriving on and around our structures.

Studies like this are helping to inform our decommissioning plans, as we seek to find solutions that balance environmental impacts and benefits with the needs of the community and regulatory requirements.
